Carol Lohmann

Since graduation from the University of Arizona College of Law and admission to the State Bar of Arizona in 1990, Carol has been representing injured and disabled individuals. She began assisting them in the law office of Tretschok, McNamara and Clymer in 1988 as a law clerk while she attended law school. During her clerkship she was involved in research and writing for appeals at the Arizona Court of Appeals and the Arizona Supreme Court. Those appeals included: Ohlmaier v. Industrial Commission, 161 Ariz. 113, 776 P. 2d 791 (1989) and Dunn v. Industrial Commission, 177 Ariz. 190, 866 P. 2d 858 (1994). After graduation from law school she continued to work at the firm as an associate and was able to continue her involvement and the Dunn case, which she argued at the Arizona Court of Appeals. She was also successful in clarifying compromise and settlement law in Schuck and Sons Construction v. Industrial Commission, 192 Ariz. 231, 963 P. 2d 310 (1998). She remained at the firm as an associate and them a partner at the Tretschok, McNamara, Patten, Lohmann. In March 1999 she opened her firm, Law Office of Carol L. Lohmann P.C., in the historic West University area of Tucson, Arizona.
Carol's legal career has focused on helping injured and disabled individuals obtain medical and lost wage benefits. She enjoys assisting clients from diverse backgrounds and occupations and in making a difference in their lives while representing them in litigation through administrative proceedings and at the Arizona Court of Appeals and Arizona Supreme Court.
Carol is a member of the Arizona State Bar Association; the Worker's Compensation section of the Arizona State Bar Association; Pima County Bar Association; Arizona Women Lawyers Association. She has served on the board of directors of the El Pueblo Clinic, which provides medical care for low-income individuals; Shanti, an organization, which provides services for individuals with AIDS/HIV; and Wingspan, LGBT community center of Southern Arizona. Carol is recognized in Best Lawyers in America for 2001-2002, 2003-2007 and also in “Tucson's Best Lawyers” in the January 2003 Tucson Lifestyles Magazine.
